简介：John Parlour (John Simm) is a merciless local loans agent who makes his living taking advantage of poverty-struck neighbourhoods. One of his clients is single mother of two Jo Weller (Sophie Okonedo) who finds herself so up to her neck with debt, not even John can help her anymore. One day John gets violently attacked and suddenly finds himself out of a job and living in the same neighbourhood he used to prey on. After recovering from his injuries he puts his mind into creating a credit union, helping the same people he used to trick. And falls in love with Jo unaware that she's hiding something from him.
