Journey Among Women

Set in 19th Century colonial Australia, this feminist oriented drama centers upon a band of female convicts who escape from brutality and the sexual abuse of the prison and set up a new society in the Australian bush where they live in wild harmony, free from the bondage of men. But their peace is short lived, as one by one the Red Coats, led by the sadistic Capt. McEwan hunt them down in a vicious and bloodthirsty slaughter.
