Joe Marcantonio is a director of highly regarded film, commercial and documentary projects.

Commercial work includes projects for Amazon, Paul Smith, Microsoft, John Lewis, Paul McCartney and Nike.

His short documentary projects have all been selected for Vimeo Staff Picks. Other films have played at Cannes, San Francisco, Raindance, the New Directors festival in New York and the Edinburgh Film festival.

'Red Light', his short film - starring Jessie Buckley (Chernobyl, Wild Rose, Beast) and Martin McCann (Calibre, The Survivalist, 71') - won numerous accolades at film festivals, and was another Vimeo Staff Pick.

His debut feature-film is psychological thriller 'Corvidae'. It stars Tamara Lawrance (The Long Song), Jack Lowden (Dunkirk, Fighting with my family) and Fiona Shaw (Killing Eve, Harry Potter).

It has sold to buyers worldwide for theatrical distribution and is due for a cinema release in the USA by IFC in November 2020.
